Sensations by On Aura Tout Vu

Published on 6 June 2014

The Paris fashion house takes our breath away with its most recent exhibition.

When one thinks about fashion, thoughts that come into mind typically revolve around characteristic motifs and colours, signature silhouettes and superior craftsmanship. For French couture house, On Aura Tout Vu, this year –  from June to December – is about the sensations delivered. The reason: their exciting upcoming exhibition at the International Centre for Lace and Fashion, which will showcase in seven independent arrangements the maison’s expression of sensations through its various collections produced between 2003 and 2014. Each arrangement tickles a different sensation, which ranges from auditory to olfactory to paradoxical to visual, and illustrates what curator Lydia Kamitsis characterizes “the manufacture of sensations.”

From June 14 to December 31 at the International Centre for Lace and Fashion, Calais, France.
